Tried same thing on the promise T3 controller as well. I started by getting the driver compiled on a supported kernel 2. Just replace the failed drive and of you go again. The store will probably replace it without asking questions.
Just got a delayed write failure on one of the 2 gb and then blue screened. I’ve been following this thread for some time and have tried every possible solution to get these two ports on my mobo to work but no matter what I can’t get the driver to compile. You C drive should show a total size of both the sizes you installed.
Are you saying that Raid option cannot be relied on on this board whatsoever?
